We received a call yesterday from someone wanting to place an order after they had read an article and found our website in the Saskatoon Express newspaper. We were very surprised when we looked through the paper and found the reference to Prairie Wind Alpacas. The article is talking about buying locally this Christmas.

Here is what they have to say about alpaca.... " 3. Anything Alpaca: My good...ness, these funny little llama-like animals are everywhere, so you don’t have to work too hard to find socks, slippers, mittens, sweaters, scarves or whatever else you want to don alpaca-style. The warm, durable fibre from the shorn animals is woven into beautiful yarn and, from there, local artisans produce the above-mentioned garb and more. Products are typically available at the Sask Made Marketplace on Eighth Street, or check out, which is located just outside Saskatoon."

Thanks Saskatoon Express for mentioning Prairie Wind Alpacas!
